³⁰ And in the breastpiece of judgement ^(A)you shall put the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be on Aaron's heart, when he goes in before the Lord. Thus Aaron shall bear the judgement of the people of Israel on his heart before the Lord regularly.

²¹ And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall enquire for him ^(A)by the judgement of the Urim before the Lord. At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the people of Israel with him, the whole congregation.”

⁹ David knew that Saul was plotting harm against him. And he said to Abiathar the priest, ^(A)“Bring the ephod here.”

^7 (A)And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

⁶³ The ^(A)governor told them that they were not ^(B)to partake of the most holy food, until there should be a priest to consult ^(C)Urim and Thummim.
