¹⁰ Then anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils; consecrate^(A) the altar, and it will be most holy.

²⁵ “Say to Aaron and his sons: ‘These are the regulations for the sin offering:^(A) The sin offering is to be slaughtered before the Lord^(B) in the place^(C) the burnt offering is slaughtered; it is most holy. ²⁶ The priest who offers it shall eat it; it is to be eaten in the sanctuary area,^(D) in the courtyard^(E) of the tent of meeting.^(F)

²⁹ Any male in a priest’s family may eat it;^(A) it is most holy.^{(B) 30} But any sin offering whose blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement^(C) in the Holy Place^(D) must not be eaten; it must be burned up.^(E)

⁹ You are to have the part of the most holy offerings^(A) that is kept from the fire. From all the gifts they bring me as most holy offerings, whether grain^(B) or sin^[a](C) or guilt offerings,^(D) that part belongs to you and your sons.
