21 At their[a] going, they[b] go, and at their standing, they stood, and at their being lifted up from on the earth,[c] the wheels rose,[d] for the spirit of the living creatures[e] was in the wheels.

22 Now[f] the likeness above the heads of the living creatures was an expanse like the outward appearance of awesome[g] ice[h] spread out above their heads upward.[i] 23 And under the expanse their wings were stretched out straight one toward the other;[j] each had two wings covering them, and each had two wings covering their bodies.

21 When the creatures moved, they also moved; when the creatures stood still, they also stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.(A)

22 Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked something like a vault,(B) sparkling like crystal, and awesome. 23 Under the vault their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two wings covering its body.

22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
