26 And from above the expanse that was above their heads there was the likeness of a throne, looking like a sapphire,[a] and above the likeness of the throne was a likeness similar to[b] the appearance of a human on it, but above it.[c] 27 And I saw something like the outward appearance of amber, something like the appearance of fire, with a covering around it, from the likeness of his loins and upward.[d] And from the likeness of his loins and downward[e] I saw something like the appearance of fire, and it was radiant all around.[f] 28 Like the appearance[g] of a bow that is in the cloud on a rainy day,[h] such was the radiance[i] around it; thus was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Yahweh. And I saw, and I fell on my face, and I heard a voice speaking.

26 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne(A) of lapis lazuli,(B) and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.(C) 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.(D) 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow(E) in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.(F)

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory(G) of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown,(H) and I heard the voice of one speaking.
