17 When they stood,[a] they stood, and at their rising, they rose with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in them. 18 And the glory of Yahweh went out from[b] the threshold of the temple, and it stood above the cherubim. 19 And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and they rose from the earth before my eyes. At their going out, the wheels were[c] beside them. And he stood at the doorway of the eastern gate of the temple[d] of Yahweh, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.[e]

18 Then the glory(B) of the Lord departed from over the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.(C) 19 While I watched, the cherubim spread their wings and rose from the ground, and as they went, the wheels went with them.(D) They stopped at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory(E) of the God of Israel was above them.
