18 [a]Then the glory of the Lord departed from above the door of the house, and stood upon the Cherubims.

19 And the Cherubims lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them: and everyone stood at the entry of the gate of the Lord’s House at the East side, and the glory of the God of Israel was upon them on high.

20 (A)This is the [b]beast that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar, and I knew that they were the Cherubims.

18 Then the glory(A) of the Lord departed from over the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.(B) 19 While I watched, the cherubim spread their wings and rose from the ground, and as they went, the wheels went with them.(C) They stopped at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory(D) of the God of Israel was above them.

20 These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the Kebar River,(E) and I realized that they were cherubim.
