Ezekiel 14:14-16

14 even (A)though these three men, (B)Noah, (C)Daniel and (D)Job were in its midst, by their own righteousness they could only deliver (E)themselves,” declares the Lord God. 15 “If I were to cause (F)wild beasts to pass through the land and they [a]depopulated it, and it became desolate so that no one would pass through it because of the beasts, 16 though these three men were in its midst, as I live,” declares the Lord God, “they could not deliver either their sons or their daughters. (G)They alone would be delivered, but the country would be desolate.

14 even if these three men—Noah,(A) Daniel[a](B) and Job(C)—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness,(D) declares the Sovereign Lord.
15 “Or if I send wild beasts(E) through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through it because of the beasts,(F) 16 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.(G)
