48 As I live,” says the Lord God, “Sodom, your sister and her daughters have not done as you and your daughters have done. 49 Behold, this was the sin of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters (outlying cities) had arrogance, abundant food, and careless ease, but she did not help the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and committed repulsive acts before Me; therefore I removed them when I saw it.(A)

48 As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign(A) Lord, your sister Sodom(B) and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done.(C)
49 “‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom:(D) She and her daughters were arrogant,(E) overfed and unconcerned;(F) they did not help the poor and needy.(G) 50 They were haughty(H) and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.(I)
