48 As I live, says the Lord God, your sister Sodom and her daughters have not done as you and your daughters have done.(A) 49 This was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease but did not aid the poor and needy.(B) 50 They were haughty and did abominable things before me; therefore I removed them when I saw it.(C)

48 As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign(A) Lord, your sister Sodom(B) and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done.(C)
49 “‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom:(D) She and her daughters were arrogant,(E) overfed and unconcerned;(F) they did not help the poor and needy.(G) 50 They were haughty(H) and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.(I)

49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.
