7 I made you thrive[a] like plants of the field.(A) You grew up and matured and became very beautiful.[b] Your breasts were formed and your hair grew, but you were stark naked.
8 “Then I passed by you and saw you, and you were indeed at the age for love. So I spread the edge of My garment over you and covered your nakedness.(B) I pledged Myself to you,(C) entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine.”(D) This is the declaration of the Lord God. 9 “I washed you with water, rinsed off your blood, and anointed you with oil.

New International Version
7 I made you grow(A) like a plant of the field. You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked.(B)
8 “‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment(C) over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant(D) with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.(E)
9 “‘I bathed you with water and washed(F) the blood from you and put ointments on you.
