Ezekiel 2:3-5

3 And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to a nation[a] of rebels, who have rebelled against me; they and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day. 4 The people also are impudent and stubborn: I send you to them; and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ 5 And whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house) they will know that there has been a prophet among them.

New International Version
3 He said: “Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; they and their ancestors have been in revolt against me to this very day.(A) 4 The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn.(B) Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’(C) 5 And whether they listen or fail to listen(D)—for they are a rebellious people(E)—they will know that a prophet has been among them.(F)
