⁴⁰ For ^(A)on My holy mountain, on the mountain height of Israel,” says the Lord God, “there ^(B)all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, shall serve Me; there ^(C)I will accept them, and there I will require your offerings and the firstfruits of your ^[a]sacrifices, together with all your holy things.

⁴¹ I will accept you as a ^(A)sweet aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you before the Gentiles.

Living Sacrifices to God

12 I ^(A)beseech^[a] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies ^(B)a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your ^[b]reasonable service.

⁵ you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
