13 In your uncleanness is obscene conduct, because I cleansed you, but you were not clean from your uncleanness; you will not be clean again until I fully vent my rage[a] on you. 14 I, Yahweh, I have spoken. It is coming, and I did it; I will not disregard, and I will not take pity, and I will not reconsider. According to your ways and according to your deeds they will judge you!”[b] declares[c] the Lord Yahweh.
15 And the word of Yahweh came[d] to me, saying,[e]

13 “‘Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed(A) from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided.(B)
14 “‘I the Lord have spoken.(C) The time has come for me to act.(D) I will not hold back; I will not have pity,(E) nor will I relent.(F) You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions,(G) declares the Sovereign Lord.(H)’”
