13 It is the rust and corruption of your filthy lewdness, of worshiping your idols. And now, because I wanted to cleanse you and you refused, remain filthy until my fury has accomplished all its terrors upon you! 14 I, the Lord, have spoken it; it shall come to pass and I will do it.”

13 “‘Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed(A) from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided.(B)
14 “‘I the Lord have spoken.(C) The time has come for me to act.(D) I will not hold back; I will not have pity,(E) nor will I relent.(F) You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions,(G) declares the Sovereign Lord.(H)’”
