24 Thus Ezekiel will be a (A)wondrous sign to you; according to all that he has done you will do; when it comes, then you will know that I am Lord Yahweh.’”
25 ‘Now as for you, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their (B)strong defense, the joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, and what lifts up their soul, their sons and their daughters, 26 that on that day he who (C)escapes will come to you with a report for your ears?

New International Version
24 Ezekiel(A) will be a sign(B) to you; you will do just as he has done. When this happens, you will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.’
25 “And you, son of man, on the day I take away their stronghold, their joy and glory, the delight of their eyes,(C) their heart’s desire,(D) and their sons and daughters(E) as well— 26 on that day a fugitive will come to tell you(F) the news.
