Ezekiel 24:5-7

5 take the choicest of the flock, and also pile the bones[a] under it; boil it vigorously;[b] indeed,[c] its bones boiled in the midst of it.”’”
6 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Woe to the city of bloodguilt! A pot that has its rust in it; its rust did not go out from it.[d] Bring it out piece by piece;[e] one is as good as another.[f] 7 For her blood was in the midst of her; she put it on a bare rock;[g] she did not pour it on the ground to cover it with dust.[h]

New International Version
5 take the pick of the flock.(A)
Pile wood beneath it for the bones;
bring it to a boil
and cook the bones in it.(B)
6 “‘For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘Woe(C) to the city of bloodshed,(D)
to the pot now encrusted,
whose deposit will not go away!
Take the meat out piece by piece
in whatever order(E) it comes.(F)
7 “‘For the blood she shed is in her midst:
She poured it on the bare rock;
she did not pour it on the ground,
where the dust would cover it.(G)
