14 “From Beth-togarmah came riding horses, chariot horses, and mules, all in exchange for your goods. 15 Merchants came to you from Dedan.[a] Numerous coastlands were your captive markets; they brought payment in ivory tusks and ebony wood.
16 “Syria[b] sent merchants to buy your rich variety of goods. They traded turquoise, purple dyes, embroidery, fine linen, and jewelry of coral and rubies.

15 “‘The men of Rhodes[a](B) traded with you, and many coastlands(C) were your customers; they paid you with ivory(D) tusks and ebony.
16 “‘Aram[b](E) did business with you because of your many products; they exchanged turquoise,(F) purple fabric, embroidered work, fine linen,(G) coral(H) and rubies for your merchandise.

14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
