Your^[a] heart is proud,
and you have said, ‘I am a god;^(A)
I sit in the seat of gods

though you have regarded your heart
as that of a god.
³ Yes, you are wiser than Daniel;^(B)
no secret is hidden from you!
⁴ By your wisdom and understanding
you have acquired wealth for yourself.
You have acquired gold and silver
for your treasuries.^(C)

I will not relent from punishing Tyre^(A)
for three crimes, even four,
because they handed over
a whole community of exiles to Edom
and broke^[a] a treaty of brotherhood.^(B)
10 Therefore, I will send fire^(C) against the walls of Tyre,
and it will consume its citadels.
