15 It will be the (A)lowest of the kingdoms, and it will not raise itself above the nations again. And I will make them small so that they will not (B)rule over the nations. 16 And it will no longer be a kingdom on which (C)the house of Israel relies, [a](D)bringing to mind the guilt of their having turned [b]to Egypt. Then they will know that I am the Lord God.”’”
17 Now in the (E)twenty-seventh year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

15 It will be the lowliest of kingdoms and will never again exalt itself above the other nations.(A) I will make it so weak that it will never again rule over the nations. 16 Egypt will no longer be a source of confidence(B) for the people of Israel but will be a reminder(C) of their sin in turning to her for help.(D) Then they will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.(E)’”
