Ezekiel 29:4-6
Good News Translation
4 I am going to put a hook through your jaw and make the fish in your river stick fast to you. Then I will pull you up out of the Nile, with all the fish sticking to you. 5 I will throw you and all those fish into the desert. Your body will fall on the ground and be left unburied. I will give it to the birds and animals for food. 6 (A)Then all the people of Egypt will know that I am the Lord.”
The Lord says, “The Israelites relied on you Egyptians for support, but you were no better than a weak stick.

New International Version
4 But I will put hooks(A) in your jaws
and make the fish of your streams stick to your scales.
I will pull you out from among your streams,
with all the fish sticking to your scales.(B)
5 I will leave you in the desert,
you and all the fish of your streams.
You will fall on the open field
and not be gathered(C) or picked up.
I will give you as food
to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the sky.(D)
6 Then all who live in Egypt will know that I am the Lord.
