8 All the bright lights in the heavens
I will make dark over you,
and set darkness upon your land,
says the Lord God.
9 I will also vex the hearts of many peoples when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known. 10 Indeed, I will make many peoples amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you when I brandish My sword before them. And they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, on the day of your fall.

8 All the shining lights in the heavens
I will darken(A) over you;
I will bring darkness over your land,(B)
declares the Sovereign Lord.
9 I will trouble the hearts of many peoples
when I bring about your destruction among the nations,
among[a] lands you have not known.
10 I will cause many peoples to be appalled at you,
and their kings will shudder with horror because of you
when I brandish my sword(C) before them.
On the day(D) of your downfall
each of them will tremble
every moment for his life.(E)
