Ezekiel 33:20-22

20 But you Israelites continue to say, “The Lord is not fair!” But I will judge each of you in a way that you deserve for the things that you have done.’
Ezekiel hears news about Jerusalem
21 This is what happened 12 years after we had come to Babylon as prisoners. It was on the 5th day of the 10th month of that year. A man who had escaped from Jerusalem came to me in Babylon.[a] He said, ‘Enemies have taken Jerusalem for themselves.’ 22 Before that man arrived, the Lord had taken hold of me in the night. He had opened my mouth so that I was able to speak again.[b]

21 In the twelfth year of our exile, in the tenth month on the fifth day, a man who had escaped(B) from Jerusalem came to me and said, “The city has fallen!(C)” 22 Now the evening before the man arrived, the hand of the Lord was on me,(D) and he opened my mouth(E) before the man came to me in the morning. So my mouth was opened and I was no longer silent.(F)
