Ezekiel 35:5-7

5 because there has been to you an ancient hostility,[a] and you handed over the Israelites[b] to the power of the sword at the time of their disaster, at the time of their final punishment.[c] 6 Therefore as I live,”[d] declares[e] the Lord Yahweh, “Certainly to blood guilt I will prepare you and blood[f] will pursue; since[g] you did not hate blood,[h] it will pursue you. 7 And I will make the mountain of Seir into a desolation and ruin, and I will cut off from it both he who is crossing over and he who is returning.

5 “‘Because you harbored an ancient hostility and delivered the Israelites over to the sword(A) at the time of their calamity,(B) the time their punishment reached its climax,(C) 6 therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will give you over to bloodshed(D) and it will pursue you.(E) Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you. 7 I will make Mount Seir a desolate waste(F) and cut off from it all who come and go.(G)
