Ezekiel 37:13-15

13 When that happens to you, my people, you will know that I am the Lord. 14 I will put the breath of my Spirit in you, and you will become alive. I will let you live safely in your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken. You will know that I have done what I said I would do. That is what the Lordsays.” ’[a]

- 37:14 The Lord is promising that he will bring his people back from exile in Babylon. As prisoners in Babylon, the Israelites think that they have no hope for good things in the future. They are like bones that are dead and dry. But God promises to give them new life.

13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord,(A) when I open your graves and bring you up from them.(B) 14 I will put my Spirit(C) in you and you will live, and I will settle(D) you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.(E)’”
