Ezekiel 40:6-8

6 Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the East, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the [a]post of the gate, which was one reed broad, and [b]the other post of the gate, which was one reed broad.
7 And every chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad, and between the chambers were five cubits: and the post of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.
8 He measured also the porch of the gate within with one reed.

6 Then he went to the east gate.(A) He climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate; it was one rod deep. 7 The alcoves(B) for the guards were one rod long and one rod wide, and the projecting walls between the alcoves were five cubits[a] thick. And the threshold of the gate next to the portico facing the temple was one rod deep.
8 Then he measured the portico of the gateway;
