¹⁷ The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides, the border around it shall be half a cubit and its base shall be a cubit round about; and its ^(A)steps shall ^[a](B)face the east.”

²⁰ You shall take some of its blood and put it on its four ^(A)horns and on the four corners of the ^(B)ledge and on the border round about; thus you shall ^(C)cleanse it and make atonement for it.

¹⁹ The priest shall take some of the blood from the sin offering and put it on the door posts of the house, on the ^(A)four corners of the ^(B)ledge of the altar and on the posts of the gate of the inner court.
