2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel(A) coming from the east.(B) His voice sounded like the roar of mighty waters,(C) and the earth shone with His glory.(D) 3 The vision I saw(E) was like the one I had seen when He[a] came to destroy the city,(F) and like the ones I had seen by the Chebar Canal.(G) I fell facedown.(H) 4 The glory of the Lord entered the temple by way of the gate that faced east.(I)

New International Version
2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters,(A) and the land was radiant with his glory.(B) 3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he[a] came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown. 4 The glory(C) of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east.(D)
