²⁰ And ^(A)you shall take some of its blood and put it on ^(B)the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the ledge and upon ^(C)the rim all around. ^(D)Thus you shall purify the altar and make atonement for it.

³⁶ and every day you shall offer a ^(A)bull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall purify the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall ^(B)anoint it to consecrate it.

¹⁸ “Thus says the Lord God: In the first month, ^(A)on the first day of the month, you shall take a bull from the herd without blemish, and ^(B)purify the sanctuary.
