The prince, he may sit in it to eat food before[a] Yahweh; he will come from the way[b] of the portico of the gate and by means of its way he will also go out.”

Then he brought me by the way of the gate of the north to the front of the temple,[c] and I looked,[d] and look! The glory of Yahweh filled the temple[e] of Yahweh, and I fell on my face. And Yahweh said, “Son of man,[f] set your heart[g] and look with your eyes and with your ears hear everything[h] I am saying to you concerning all the statutes of the temple[i] of Yahweh and concerning all its laws,[j] and you must listen with your heart concerning the entrance of the temple[k] with all of the exits of the sanctuary.

The prince himself is the only one who may sit inside the gateway to eat in the presence(A) of the Lord. He is to enter by way of the portico of the gateway and go out the same way.(B)

Then the man brought me by way of the north gate(C) to the front of the temple. I looked and saw the glory of the Lord filling the temple(D) of the Lord, and I fell facedown.(E)

The Lord said to me, “Son of man, look carefully, listen closely and give attention to everything I tell you concerning all the regulations and instructions regarding the temple of the Lord. Give attention to the entrance(F) to the temple and all the exits of the sanctuary.(G)
