5 The Lord said to me: “Son of man, pay attention;(A) look with your eyes and listen with your ears to everything I tell you about all the statutes and laws of the Lord’s temple.(B) Take careful note of the entrance of the temple along with all the exits of the sanctuary.
The Levites’ Duties and Privileges
6 “Say to the rebellious people,(C) the house of Israel: This is what the Lord God says: I have had enough(D) of all your detestable practices, house of Israel. 7 When you brought in foreigners,(E) uncircumcised in both heart and flesh,(F) to occupy My sanctuary, you defiled My temple while you offered My food—the fat and the blood. You[a] broke My covenant by all your detestable practices.

5 The Lord said to me, “Son of man, look carefully, listen closely and give attention to everything I tell you concerning all the regulations and instructions regarding the temple of the Lord. Give attention to the entrance(A) to the temple and all the exits of the sanctuary.(B) 6 Say to rebellious Israel,(C) ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Enough of your detestable practices, people of Israel! 7 In addition to all your other detestable practices, you brought foreigners uncircumcised in heart(D) and flesh into my sanctuary, desecrating my temple while you offered me food, fat and blood, and you broke my covenant.(E)
