6 “Say to the rebellious people,(A) the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Lord God says: I have had enough(B) of all your detestable practices, house of Israel. 7 When you brought in foreigners,(C) uncircumcised in both heart and flesh,(D) to occupy my sanctuary, you defiled my temple while you offered my food—the fat and the blood. You[a] broke my covenant by all your detestable practices. 8 You have not kept charge of my holy things(E) but have appointed others to keep charge of my sanctuary for you.’

6 Say to rebellious Israel,(A) ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Enough of your detestable practices, people of Israel! 7 In addition to all your other detestable practices, you brought foreigners uncircumcised in heart(B) and flesh into my sanctuary, desecrating my temple while you offered me food, fat and blood, and you broke my covenant.(C) 8 Instead of carrying out your duty in regard to my holy things, you put others in charge of my sanctuary.(D)
