11 Therefore as I live,’ declares the Lord God, ‘Because you have (A)defiled My sanctuary with all your (B)detestable idols and with all your abominations, I definitely will also withdraw and My eye will have no pity, and I also will not spare. 12 A third of you will die by (C)plague or perish by famine among you, a third will fall by the sword around you, and a third I will (D)scatter to every wind, and I will (E)unsheathe a sword behind them.
13 ‘Then My anger will be spent and I will satisfy My wrath on them, and I will be (F)appeased; then they will know that I, the Lord, have (G)spoken in My zeal, when I have spent My wrath upon them.

11 Therefore as surely as I live,(A) declares the Sovereign(B) Lord, because you have defiled my sanctuary(C) with all your vile images(D) and detestable practices,(E) I myself will shave you; I will not look on you with pity or spare you.(F) 12 A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds(G) and pursue with drawn sword.(H)
13 “Then my anger will cease and my wrath(I) against them will subside, and I will be avenged.(J) And when I have spent my wrath on them, they will know that I the Lord have spoken in my zeal.(K)
