10 “‘Behold, the day! Behold, it comes! Your doom has gone out. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded. 11 Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness. None of them will remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth. There will be nothing of value among them. 12 The time has come! The day draws near. Don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude.

10 “‘See, the day!
See, it comes!
Doom has burst forth,
the rod(A) has budded,
arrogance has blossomed!
11 Violence(B) has arisen,[a]
a rod to punish the wicked.
None of the people will be left,
none of that crowd—
none of their wealth,
nothing of value.(C)
12 The time has come!
The day has arrived!
Let not the buyer(D) rejoice
nor the seller grieve,
for my wrath is on the whole crowd.(E)
