¹¹ Violence ^[a]has grown into a rod of ^(A)wickedness. None of them shall remain, none of their multitude, none of their ^(B)moaning, nor anything eminent among them.

²³ ‘^(A)Make the chain, for the land is full of ^(B)judgments that promote bloodshed, and the city is ^(C)full of violence.

⁹ Then He said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great, and the land is ^(A)filled with bloodshed, and the city is ^(B)full of perversion; for ^(C)they say, ‘Yahweh has forsaken the land, and Yahweh does not see!’

¹⁰ But they ^(A)do not know how to do what is right,” declares Yahweh, “these who ^(B)hoard up ^[a]violence and devastation in their citadels.”
