^6 (A)They have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘Declares the Lord’, ^(B)when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfil their word.

⁹ So ^(A)do not listen to your ^(B)prophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your ^(C)fortune-tellers, or your sorcerers, who are saying to you, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon.’

⁸ For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ^(A)Do not let your prophets and ^(B)your diviners who are among you deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams that they dream,^[a]
