¹⁴ So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away; and I went embittered in the rage of my spirit, and ^(A)the hand of the Lord was strong on me.

³ And He extended the form of a hand and took me by the hair of my head; and the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the ^[a]north gate of the inner courtyard, where the seat of the idol of jealousy, which ^(B)provokes to jealousy, was located.

Evil Rulers to Be Judged

11 Now the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the Lord’s house which faced eastward. And behold, there were twenty-five men at the entrance of the gate, and among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and ^(B)Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.

²⁴ And the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God to ^[a]Chaldea, to the exiles. Then the vision that I had seen ^[b](B)left me.

² I know a man ^(A)in Christ, who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, ^(B)God knows—such a man was ^(C)caught up to the ^(D)third heaven. ³ And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, ^(E)God knows— ⁴ was ^(F)caught up into ^(G)Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.
