Ezra 10:4-6

4 Arise! For this matter is [a]your responsibility, but we will be with you; (A)be strong and act.”
5 Then Ezra arose and (B)made the leading priests, the Levites and all Israel, swear an oath that they would do according to this word; so they swore an oath. 6 Then Ezra (C)arose from before the house of God and went into the chamber of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib. He went there, but (D)he did not eat bread nor drink water, for he was mourning over the unfaithfulness of the exiles.

New International Version
4 Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.”
5 So Ezra rose up and put the leading priests and Levites and all Israel under oath(A) to do what had been suggested. And they took the oath. 6 Then Ezra withdrew from before the house of God and went to the room of Jehohanan son of Eliashib. While he was there, he ate no food and drank no water,(B) because he continued to mourn over the unfaithfulness of the exiles.
