Ezra 2:62-64
American Standard Version
62 These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore [a]were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood. 63 And the governor said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
64 The whole assembly together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

62 These searched for their family records, but they could not find them and so were excluded from the priesthood(A) as unclean. 63 The governor ordered them not to eat any of the most sacred food(B) until there was a priest ministering with the Urim and Thummim.(C)
