19 They also brought Hashabiah, Jeshaiah (who was a descendant of Merari), 20 of Jeshaiah’s relatives and their sons, 20 and 220 temple servants. They were descended from the temple servants whom David and his officials had appointed to work for the Levites. These were all listed by name.
21 Then I announced a fast there at the Ahava River so that we might humble ourselves in the presence of our Elohim to ask him for a safe journey for ourselves, for our little ones, and for all our goods.

19 and Hashabiah, together with Jeshaiah from the descendants of Merari, and his brothers and nephews, 20 in all. 20 They also brought 220 of the temple servants(A)—a body that David and the officials had established to assist the Levites. All were registered by name.
21 There, by the Ahava Canal,(B) I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey(C) for us and our children, with all our possessions.
