Galatians 1:16-18
Revised Standard Version
16 was pleased to reveal his Son to[a] me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not confer with flesh and blood, 17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia; and again I returned to Damascus.
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas, and remained with him fifteen days.

New International Version
16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles,(A) my immediate response was not to consult any human being.(B) 17 I did not go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went into Arabia. Later I returned to Damascus.(C)
