Galatians 4:7-9

7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and (A)if a son, then an heir [a]through God.
8 However at that time, (B)when you did not know God, you were (C)slaves to (D)those which by nature are no gods. 9 But now, having known God, or rather having been (E)known by God, (F)how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless [b](G)elemental things, to which you want to be enslaved all over again?

New International Version
7 So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.(A)
Paul’s Concern for the Galatians
8 Formerly, when you did not know God,(B) you were slaves(C) to those who by nature are not gods.(D) 9 But now that you know God—or rather are known by God(E)—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces[a]? Do you wish to be enslaved(F) by them all over again?(G)
