8 [a]It is not the persuasion of [b]him that calleth you.
9 (A)[c]A little leaven doth leaven the whole lump.
10 [d]I have trust in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you, shall bear his condemnation, whosoever he be.

8 That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.(A) 9 “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.”(B) 10 I am confident(C) in the Lord that you will take no other view.(D) The one who is throwing you into confusion,(E) whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty.
