² And the earth was ^[a](A)formless and void, and ^(B)darkness was over the ^[b]surface of the deep, and ^(C)the Spirit of God ^(D)was hovering over the ^[c]surface of the waters.

⁶ Then God said, “Let there be ^[a]an ^(A)expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.”

⁹ Then God said, “^(A)Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let ^(B)the dry land appear”; and it was so.

⁵ Thus says the God, Yahweh,

²⁴ Thus says Yahweh, your ^(A)Redeemer, and the one who ^(B)formed you from the womb,
