21 So God created every kind of magnificent marine creature, every kind of living marine crawler[a] with which the waters swarmed, and every kind of flying creature.[b] And God saw how good it was. 22 God blessed them by saying, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the oceans. Let the birds multiply throughout the earth!” 23 The twilight and the dawn were the fifth day.

21 So God created(A) the great creatures of the sea(B) and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it,(C) according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind.(D) And God saw that it was good.(E) 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.”(F) 23 And there was evening, and there was morning(G)—the fifth day.
