7 And that's what happened. God made the dome 8 and named it “Sky.” Evening came, then morning—that was the second day.

7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it.(A) And it was so.(B) 8 God called(C) the vault “sky.”(D) And there was evening, and there was morning(E)—the second day.
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place,(F) and let dry ground(G) appear.” And it was so.(H)
