Genesis 1:7-9

7 God made the [a]expanse, and separated (A)the waters which were below the [b]expanse from the waters (B)which were above the [c]expanse; and it was so. 8 God called the [d]expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
9 Then God said, “(C)Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let (D)the dry land appear”; and it was so.

7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it.(A) And it was so.(B) 8 God called(C) the vault “sky.”(D) And there was evening, and there was morning(E)—the second day.
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place,(F) and let dry ground(G) appear.” And it was so.(H)
