God made the [a]expanse, and separated (A)the waters that were below the [b]expanse from the waters (B)that were above the [c]expanse; and it was so. God called the [d]expanse “heaven.” And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.

Then God said, “(C)Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let (D)the dry land appear”; and it was so.
