Genesis 10:24-26

New International Version

²⁴Arphaxad was the father of^[a] Shelah,

and Shelah the father of Eber.^(A)

²⁵Two sons were born to Eber:

One was named Peleg,^[b] because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.

²⁶Joktan was the father of

Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
