Abram’s Family

²⁷ This is the account^(A) of Terah’s family line.

Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor^(B) and Haran. And Haran became the father of Lot.^(C)

³¹ Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot^(A) son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law^(B) Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans^(C) to go to Canaan.^(D) But when they came to Harran,^(E) they settled there.

Nahor’s Sons

²⁰ Some time later Abraham was told, “Milkah is also a mother; she has borne sons to your brother Nahor:^(A)

²³ Bethuel became the father of Rebekah.^(A) Milkah bore these eight sons to Abraham’s brother Nahor.^(B)
