⁷ The Lord appeared to Abram^(A) and said, “To your offspring^[a] I will give this land.^(B)”^(C) So he built an altar there to the Lord,^(D) who had appeared to him.

² “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River^(A) into the land^(B) I am about to give to them^(C)—to the Israelites.

³ The days^(A) are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring^(B) my people Israel and Judah back from captivity^[a] and restore^(C) them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”
